Using Tovak
Tovak helps people find independent towing and roadside assistance providers, contact them and request quotes. Tovak does not perform towing or roadside repairs, employ the listed providers, or become a party to their service contracts. A listing, rating or location is not a guarantee of availability, licensing, arrival time or service quality.
Agree on the work, full price, arrival time and payment directly with the provider. The provider is responsible for its services, required licences and insurance, and the handling of your vehicle. Tovak does not charge commission on completed jobs. Any fee for an additional Tovak service must be expressly agreed before it is charged.
In an emergency or immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service. Do not use the site while driving.
Your responsibilities
Use accurate information, submit only genuine requests, and provide content you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate others, submit abusive or misleading reviews, access private requests without permission, or disrupt the service. Protect your account and request access credentials. You must be legally able to enter the agreements you make.
Information needed to answer a service request is shared with the responding providers. Public listings may also be displayed through the open API. Our Privacy policy explains how information is used; it is a notice about data practices, not permission for unrelated processing.
Availability and responsibility
We work to maintain accurate information and a working service, but information may be outdated and service interruptions may occur. Contact us to report a problem. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular result from contacting a provider and are not responsible for the independent provider’s performance.
These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer rights. Disputes are subject to the applicable law and the jurisdiction rules that apply to the parties; these terms do not require you to waive a legally protected choice of court.
Changes and misuse
We may restrict access for misuse, security or legal reasons. Material changes to an existing service agreement will be communicated and require acceptance where applicable. Changes to these terms do not retrospectively change recorded listing permissions.
For service providers
Listing Terms

By submitting your application, you request a public business listing and accept these Listing Terms and the website terms. You must be authorized to represent the business and supply the information and media you ask us to publish.
Free listing
A free listing requires two approved Tovak QR stickers, one on each side of your vehicle, and approval of your photos. Ask us for the approved artwork before printing. Use outdoor vehicle vinyl with protective lamination, at least 8 inches wide per sticker (10 inches recommended), preserving the proportions and white border. Check that both QR codes scan. Send one clear photo of each side, at least 1280 × 960 pixels, for approval.
An application alone does not activate a listing. We review applications and photos and confirm publication. Tovak takes no commission on completed jobs and does not promise a minimum number of calls or jobs. You agree on the service, price and arrival time directly with the customer and are responsible for the services you provide.
What you authorize us to publish
You authorize publication of the name or business name, customer contact phone, services, vehicle description, base address and coordinates, website and photos or videos you supply for your listing. This includes contact details visible in those photos or videos and updates you later send for publication. Your application email is used to contact you and is not included in your public listing.
If you enable location sharing in the driver app, you authorize Tovak to show the vehicle coordinates you send, including background updates while sharing is enabled. Stopping sharing stops new updates; the last point may remain until the catalogue refreshes. The saved base location may be used when a current vehicle location is unavailable.
The purpose of publication is to help people find your services and contact you. Your application requests publication across the channels described below: tovak.com, Tovak applications, the open API, Tovak social and video channels, and app-store materials.
You authorize use of these listing details and supplied media in Tovak’s app-store listings (descriptions, screenshots and preview videos) and on Tovak’s channels on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. This includes showing your services and contact details in demonstrations of Tovak’s listing and search features. Tovak chooses the relevant publications; submitting an application does not guarantee publication on every channel.
Public listing details are also available through Tovak’s open API without an access key. Other websites, applications and services may use these details to help customers find and contact you. Public information can be copied or indexed by others.
You grant Tovak a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, format and publish the materials you supply for the publications described in these Listing Terms. You retain ownership. This permission does not authorize unrelated uses of your private application data or marketing emails to you.
Changes and removal
Keep your details accurate and tell us when they change. To correct your details, stop publication on a particular channel, remove your listing or withdraw publication permission, email [email protected]. We will stop future publication under our control and address removal requests as required by applicable law. Copies held independently by other sites or search engines may require a separate request to them. Necessary application and correspondence records may be retained to handle disputes or legal obligations, as explained in the Privacy policy.
We may decline or suspend a listing for inaccurate information, misuse, safety concerns, failure to meet the free listing requirements or legal reasons. We may contact you about your application, listing, sticker approval and service requests. Materially different publication uses require a new permission where required; a later edit to these terms does not rewrite the terms recorded with your application.
